Tetherow is now Garbiel Francis! And now he is building a school?

Just when you thought the story couldn’t get more bizarre …

Virgil Tetherow, Gabriel Tetherow, Brad Tetherow, Gabriel Posenti, all names used at one time or another by a convicted connoisseur of kiddie porn, Father Gabriel Francis. The same guy who was recently fired from his position with the schismatic Catholic Group at the Sts Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Mission in York, Pennsylvania has reinvented himself again and hung out his shingle at the newly created St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Chapel in Dover, Pennsylvania. It looks like he and some other breakaway members of Sts Peter and Paul RMC have taken the school money from the RMC in York and run to a new location. Or perhaps the heat was too much and the two organizations are working together to avoid having to explain the fact that their “priest” is a convicted felon and has been ordered by the Diocese of Scranton to stop presenting himself as a Catholic priest or to minister as a Catholic priest.

Dover is just a few miles northwest of York, Pennsylvania, still within the Diocese of Harrisburg, although I would imagine that this group is also operating outside of the control of that See.

It looks like the newly renamed “Father Gabriel Francis” intends to open a school with the freshly formed schismatic group in Dover. This would seem to be the perfect project for a guy who gets his jollies looking at naked children.

My question to the readers is this, why would anyone allow this man, who keeps changing his name, near any project that would put him in close contact and perhaps let him be alone, unsupervised with children? If this man was legitimate, why does he have to keep changing his name?  Is it so difficult for these ultra-conservative Catholic groups to find a priest in good standing that they are willing to accept the services of a man who has been removed from ministry in the Catholic Church, especially one with a proclivity for sexual desires for children?

Dover, Pennsylvania, be warned! Roman Collar crime has taken up residence in your community and the intention is to open a school that may provide victims for a potential pedophile priest.
